CMA Moldform
CMA Moldform is one of the largest sub-contract polyurethane resin and white metal casters of its type in Europe. Specialising in rapid prototyping and scale model work, the company has recently started using our RTV 3325 for moulding production runs of scale models.
Polyurethane resin castings for the scale model market often require complex and intricate components with fine detail and definition. This is achieved with a mould life of usually 50 – 60 parts to retain the high level of detail over the complete run.
“The performance of 3325 is absolutely phenomenal,” commented CMA Director, Kevin Buttress, “not only are we getting a better quality of moulding over the production runs, we have effectively doubled the mould life with up to 100 items per mould.”
